Aliens Have Landed Story

I woke up in the morning as usual and ate my usual cereal, but I knew that this day was not going to be normal at all. It started off at my boring old school. I began the day with P.E, I didn't like P.E very much and was not in the mood what-so-ever. When it was finished I was straight off to history, which I didn't mind very much. The best part of the day was probably hometime. When I got in I started to root through my bag. I began to realise that I had left my homework in school and it needed to be in for the next day. As I was walking through the estate back to my school I noticed that my estate seemed a lot more weird in the dark. Becoming rather scared as I stumbled upon the giant moss-covered castle-like building that was my school. I noticed an eerie looking figure in the car park. Now regreting even wanting to come here in the first place, I realised that the reason that that I had came here had gone completly out of the window. I presumed thst the only thing that was driving me to stay were I was, was pure curiousity. The figure didn't seem to move much (the reason that I was calling it a "figure" is dominatly becuase it did not look like an ordinary human being). As I slowly moved through the car park and past the "figure" I noticed that it had moved from it's original place. I started to get extremely worried as I was wondering were the it had gone. Hearing a twig snap behind me, I stopped dead in my tracks. I could feel its breath on my neck as it got closer and closer and closer. By the time it had got so close that I could physically touch it. Being a complete and utter idiot I decided to swivel round stare my opponent dead in the eye. Still not being able to see it as it was very dark, I decided to do what any 12-year-old kid does in that position and run for my life. As I was running I started looking behind me every now and again to check if the "creature" was there. To my relief he wasn't. When I stopped running to give myself a break I noticed that I was outside the front door of the reception of my school. There was some lights on but not many, as it was beginning to get rather late. I tried the door.Locked.I tried knocking. No answer. Then all of a sudden another dark figure started to stroll towards the door. It seemed to look exactly like the other one so I started to run in the opposite direction from both of the figures. Running round to the back of the school, I found myself near to the playground. Thinking that the playground would probably be safe. I was wrong. When I got there I noticed that there light in the distance, on the field. Edging closer and closer I watched as some of the lights disappeared into the sky. When these lights went I noticed that another set seemed to come in. I then realised that they were ships. To my sheer amazement there was an army of the "dark figures" were piling off the ships. My jaw hit the floor with shock. I didn't really remember much after that, I think the only thing that I could remember was running home as fast as I could. When I went into school the next day (without my homework!)I was determined to tell my teacher the story of why I hadn't done it. However as I was about to tell her I realised that the dark mystical "figures" that I had seen that night before were not aliens and were not any of the things that I had in mind. They were sheer teachers.

The rainbow

After the summers rain
Gods promise is remembered
Glorious rainbow

Sad sad day

It's a sad sad day
When the lights go dim
It's a sad sad day
When the sun goes down
It's a sad sad day
When it rains
It's a sad sad day
When the moon get covered by the mist of darkness

It's a sad sad day
When you cry
It's a sad sad day
When I make you lie
It's a sad sad day
When you fail
It's a sad sad day
When you sail in the sea of darkness

Laura Green

Ballad of the broken heart

Standing on one side of the bridge
You on the other
Burned at both ends
of the times we spent with one another
As the bridge slowly crumbles apart
A melody starts to play
The ballad of the broken heart

Reminiscing of a secret love affair
Wallowing in the pits of despair
This isn't the ending
It's a brand new start
As a melody begins to play
The ballad of the broken heart

For a wounded heart time will not heal
Only gives it a better conceal
In the beginning like a flower our love arose
To end this chapter
The book will close

From within, the music will start
Hail! sing, sing aloud to the melody
The ballad of the broken heart

Carl Leiland

The telephone

"When I was just as far as I could walk
From here today
There was an hour
All still
when leaning with my head against a flower
I heard you talk
Don't say I didn't, for I heard you say
You spoke from that flower on the windowsill
Do you remember what it was you said?"

"first tell me what it was you thought you heard"

"Having found a flower and driven a bee away,
I leaned my head,
And holding by the stalk,
I listened and I thought I caught the word
what was it? did you call me by my name?
Or did you say
someone said 'come' I heard it as I bowed

"I may have thought as much, but not aloud"

"Well so I came"

Robert Frost

Lost love

Void, empty, hollow inside
My dreams have fled, my hopes have died
Existence has no reason
Life's just passing with each season

She was my life, my hope, my love
All is gone, passed by thereof
The hurt is such no one should bear
what's to life, why should I care

I weep all night for my love gone
My heart is sick, for death I long
Mine eyes well tears for love that's lost
I'll mourn always for the great cost

But in each day lord give me hope
Strengthen me so i may cope
Grant me wisdom to help me see
Thy great way and not just me

Aliens have landed

The aliens have landed
It's distressing but they're here
They piloted their flying saucer
through our atmosphere
They landed like a meteor
engulfed in smoke and flame
Then out they climbed immersed in slime
and burbled as they came

Their hands are greasy tentacles
Their heads are weird machines
Their bodies look like cauliflower
and smell like dead sardines
Their blood is liquid helium
Their eyes are made of granite
Their breath exudes the stench of foods
from some unearthly planet

And if you want to see these
sickly, unattractive creatures,
you'll find them working in your school;
they all got jobs as teachers

School School School

Every school has a name
school is so lame
school what can I say
school I'm there like every day
school is like a prison, you can never escape
school is like having a detention everyday
school you tell us to do schoolwork and at home we
have to do homework

school, school, school
work, work, work
study, study, study
test, test, test it all goes through my mind
what else should I do
might the principal think;
My school
my rules
my way or the hard way

this is what I think
         I'm

Animal in you

The sweet smile upon your lips
Smooth movement in your hips
Charming gaze
Eyes ablaze

I see the animal in you

The softness of your skin
Your ever cheeky grin
killer nails
crazy tales

I feel the animal in you

The emotion in your tone
Intensely rich groan
harsh speech
now preach

I hear the animal in you

The fierce in your stroll
Kindness of your soul
Heart true
Destined view

I love the animal in you

Futility

Move him into the sun
gently its touch awoke him once
At home, whispering of fields half-Snow
Always it woke him, even in France
until this morning and this snow
If anything might rouse him now
the kind old sun will know

Think how it wakes the seeds
woke once the clays of a cold star
Are limbs, so dear achieved, are sides
Full-nerved, still warm, too hard to stir?
Was it for the the clay grew tall?
O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
to break the earth's sleep at all?

Wilfred Owen

My dog ate my homework

My dog ate my homework
That mischevious pup
got hold of my homework
and gobbled it up

My dog ate my homework
Its gonna be late
I guess that the teacher
will just have to wait

My dog ate my homework
he swallowed it whole
I shouldn't have mixed it
with food in his bowl
